Without thinking twice, I started running towards the end of the corridor. This castle had a dense air, making me feel suffocated. Quickly, I started gasping for air, unable to get any into my lungs.
I abruptly knelt down on the floor. A shadow grew beside me, rising like a ghost. Whispers, the whispers made me feel very cold. I didn’t look at the shadow, trying to get up again to run.
The shadow tried to pounce on me. I used all my strength to dodge it. That’s when I saw it, looking at a silhouette the color of gold. It wasn’t just one. Ten of them were piling up, trying to absorb me, which was becoming painful. Like a freezing sensation that was invading me.
“I know this castle…” I murmured, as I dragged myself across the floor.
The gold silhouettes followed me, trying to attach themselves to my body, the sensation was sinister and annoying at the same time. I tried to get them off me. I took a deep breath to force the air in. I clenched my fist
