Chapter 471. Visions

“Visions of the past.” I murmured, in a low voice. That didn’t make any sense.

I was giving myself time. Tachje was watching me sort out my memories and I didn’t have anything concrete to tell him. Ian was coming and going doing the work of the underworld. It was exhausting for him. I felt like a useless person who was wasting everyone’s time.

Digging into my memories was much harder than I thought.

“I saw Plettekman many times, I saw Zack, I saw them kill everyone I loved in the world.” I said, trying to hide under the blankets as if that would shield me from Tachje’s harassment.

“I know.” Tachje growled, almost smiling sarcastically. Isn’t that what a ghost would do? Well, try to scare you.” He made a face of annoyance. “I want you to remember environments first. Tell me what you’ve seen in most of the visions.”
