Chapter 13. No Evidence
“I requested for it sir but the management of St Leo’s hospital claims it was erased.” He paused and then continued. “I think the surveillance footage was erased after the attack.”
“Since when do animals have the knowledge to destroy evidence after their attack?”
Detective White’s face turned pale and looked depressed. He wants proof of what happened but no clue or even evidence. He still believes what killed his late wife might be the same wild bear that attacked his son and possibly come back to finish off his son but the nurse became the victim. He wants things to make sense rather than him getting stuck in theories of facts without proof.
He makes his way to the receptionist hall and gently pulled his son to a corner after he asked Alicia to excuse them. “I need you to tell me what attacked you in the woods.”
