Chapter 18. Triggered

One thing about werewolves is they get angry easily and this might make them do what they never intended to do.

Lucas rose to his feet enraged. He could feel his blood burning and his fingernails growing into claws. As Stone brought his mouth closer to Jane’s neck to sink his fangs into her, Lucas pounced on Stone and buried his claws into Stone’s abdomen.

Stone releases Jane from his grip as he slumps to his knees.

Something in Lucas was still longing for more brutality. He couldn’t ignore or fight it. He grabbed Stone by the neck and sank his claws into his chest aiming for Stone’s heart and ripping it out.

Lucas with Stone’s heart in his hand slumps to the ground.

Realizing what has happened, Jane quickly rushed to help him. His appearance was changing already. His body was growing beastly hairs and his claws were longer than before. His bones began to snap and reshape. Jane could hear the snap of the bones. ‘This could only mean one thing,’ she said
