Chapter 29

While Damian was busy driving the car, he had one hand resting on Ella's thigh and held her other hand. It was cool to see him effortlessly driving the vehicle with just one hand. Ella knew that what Damian was doing was somewhat dangerous, but she didn't scold him.

Besides, there weren't many cars on the road they took on their way home. A wide smile adorned Ella's face because she was incredibly happy. She glanced at Damian and sweetly smiled.

"I love you, Damian," she said.

In response, Damian squeezed Ella's hand. He briefly looked at her, smiled back, and then focused his eyes on the road. "I love you more," Damian replied before turning his attention back to driving.

Ella let out a sigh of relief because she was more than happy and content just being by his side. She asked herself several times what good thing she had done to be this lucky.
