Ella was lying down, but she repeatedly heard Damian's words in her mind. She wanted to slap the man's face to reveal that a true Demakis was inside her womb, but he favored Monique. If she hadn't controlled herself earlier, they might have had a confrontation! Besides, she knew Damian well, and he wouldn't just believe her without evidence.

The next morning, she found Monique sitting like a queen in the living room. Her feet were crossed, and she held a steaming coffee mug in her right hand, while her left hand was busy with a magazine. Ella got even more annoyed when she noticed Monique's outfit. Did she really need to wear a gown even at home? So pretentious!

"Hey," she called out to the woman.

"What?" Monique answered but didn't even glance at Ella.

"I'll consider it a favor if you leave my house right now," Ella said and mimicked how Monique had told her to leave before.
