Chapter 42

Ella wasn't sure if Damian already had coffee or not, but she still made him a cup. When she came out of the kitchen, Damian was not in the living room, and she wondered where he went.

She shrugged and placed the two cups of coffee on the center table. Then she heard Damian’s voice outside the apartment as if he flirting. So, she immediately went to the window, opened it, and looked outside.

"Damn it!" she cursed as she went back to the sofa and drank her coffee. In less than a minute, she finished one cup of coffee and then went outside.

“Going somewhere?” Damian asked as soon as he saw her.

"Damian, let your guest come in,” she told him, and then she inched closer to his ears before she whispered, “you just woke up, and here you are, already flirting with the neighbor.”

“It’s alright, Miss. I just dropped by to give some food to Damian,” the young girl said.

"Thanks for the food, but we can buy our own," Ella declined, but Damian accepted the container
