When she heard that the man was getting married, she immediately traveled to personally see Ella Sullivan's face, the woman who took Damian away from her. She patiently waited for the newlyweds to come out, and even though she was nervous, she didn't leave. Keith didn't know what she did, so she didn't want anyone to spot her. She stayed hidden near their patron's statue.

For countless times, she let out a sigh. She thought Damian was worth it, but she was mistaken, and Ella won. But when she thought about it, they both had personal reasons for wanting to marry Damian.

"Excuse me."

Monique got nervous when someone tapped her arm, afraid that someone might have seen her and would report her to Damian. She hesitated to turn around, but the tapping on her arm didn't stop, and her eyes widened at what she saw.

"Our candles are affordable," said a child, waving the items they were carrying in front of her.

She should have been the one Damian married if Ella didn't
