As she walked towards the altar where Damian was waiting for her, Ella couldn't explain her feelings. She wanted to cry because she was getting married without her parents and the person who had taken care of her. But when she remembered the face of the makeup artist earlier, she almost burst out laughing.

Even she was surprised by her appearance when she saw her face in the mirror. Usually, she didn't really get eye bags even when she stayed up late. It was only when she had an important event that she developed eye bags and her face looked tired.

At first, Damian didn't agree to let her walk to the altar alone, but she insisted that she would be accompanied by the presence of Jack McBride on her wedding day. Luckily, she was wearing a veil, so it wasn't obvious that she had been biting her lip to stop herself from crying.

With every step, she was reminded of Damian's kind father who had taken her in when she lost her parents.
