"Sir, we haven't been able to locate her, sir," announced Chike, my favorite and long-time bodyguard, as he stood in front of me.
I gave Chike the nickname "Ant," not because of his small stature, but because of his incredible strength. You know those ants that can carry several times their body weight? If you haven't seen it, check it out on the Discovery Channel or something—it's amazing!
But let's get back to Chike. He's as agile as an Olympic gymnast. Sometimes I wonder how much stronger he would be if he were a bit taller, but I love him just the way he is. He has been a great friend, bodyguard, confidant, and even a father figure when my own father refused to step up. There's hardly anything that Ant doesn't know about me or the Daniels family as a whole—the secrets, the lies, the crimes, and more.
