“Ask him to contact me again, tell him I miss him and that I am staying in New York if he wants to see me, I am free tomorrow night..."

I write everything down on paper like a good assistant, but I bite the cap of the pen, irritated with the way her last sentence came out.

But I realize that this is one of her “sex friends".

"I'll pass the message on to him, Miss Krinks...", I force myself to say, listening to her breathing on the other end of the call.

For a moment I catch myself imagining this Anna, I am sure that she is a busty blonde and filthy rich woman.

A person who would be a perfect match for him...

But what catches my attention is that she said he came to her first this morning, could it be after our conversation?

“Thank you, cutie!", a frown forms on my face as I hear her honeyed thanks.

I hang up the call still thinking about this woman in her connection with James.
