Chapter 84

Cassandra’s POV

The only thought on my mind as we sat idle on the boat was that we needed to reach the island soon. I still couldn’t see any glimpse of land yet and it was making me lose hope. I looked towards Raegan where he sat lost in thought, probably still thinking of his brother and I couldn’t blame him. We were both injured, exhausted, hungry and dirty. Normally, it didn’t take this long for us to recover when we get hurt but because we were in a bad condition, healing was really slow which was why we needed to get on that island fast.

Being weak will forbid us from completing the task on time and heading back home. My clothes were sticking to my skin and it disgusted me so much I felt like throwing up. I smelt horrible after not taking a bath in so long and my stomach was already hurting from the lack of food. Raegan didn’t have to voice it out but I knew he was suffering too. He just had better control of his emotions than I did.

I was about to clo
