Samantha’s POV

I groaned in pain as Liam rubbed the wet squished leaves on my wounds. They hurt, they hurt so badly and it just strengthened my resolve to hurt Daniel back, and harder.

The pain had been dizzying while I was in the donjon. I was so grateful to the Moon Goddess that she made me make it out alive.

I was also mad at Gabriel. How dare he? How dare he order me to be thrown into the donjon despite my condition?! He didn’t even think to let my wounds be treated first. I remembered how I had tried to catch his eyes, to at least plead with him to let me off but he didn’t even spare me a look as he barked out the orders.

I had been scared to be thrown in that donjon. I’ve heard so many talks about the place, if it were all rumours or if it were real, I had no idea but I have never wanted to confirm it first-hand.
