Chapter 55

Debby could hear a panting Travor at the bottom of the corridor.

His steps faltered. Intimately, she feared that he was having sex with someone else, and that this sound was attracting her to her direction. Only even stronger, she wished he was doing it. The sound consisted of being accompanied by a light blow, and this thing stirred up his curiosity even more. Debby kept mulling over the paranoia in her head until she decided to investigate.

Travor was close to a set of lifting bars in his gym room. Without waiting for permission, Debby invaded his space, closing the heavy glazed door behind his back. He didn't see her arriving. He had a headset exploding against his ears, and Debby could decipher a few words that escaped the heavy beat. Sweat flowed against his sculpted back, slipping beyond the edge of the gray shorts he wore. He jumped to reach the bar and lifted under his own weight, stretching and bending his cracked abdomen.

"You know that all thes
