Chapter 6
Debby was satisfied with the nurse's interest with her improvement. Unlike many doctors and nurses there, Soraya possibly became the only one who had hope for a recovery. It didn't consist of being as if Debby allowed herself to have a certain kind of illusion just like this thing.
Soraya walked away a moment later, hurrying to help an elderly man as he tried to sit at one of the tables. Debby returned to the drawing, hitting lightly with the pencil against her head, waiting for a certain Divine light.
She wouldn't remember how exactly he made her raise her head. Possibly another wave of whispers as they got tangled up with my synapses, or another tide of that sea of hatred as every moment went up to her heart from one hour to the next. Or, who knows, an intuition. In a way, his gaze got stuck in a black van as he had just entered the clinic.
