Chapter 5
She woke up in the middle of the night feeling her blood boil with despair, and ran to where her notebooks were, tearing off the last task of the day. She thought everything was done, but with illegible letters, others with stupid answers, and wondered at the time how she had found time to do so much.
Debby's time made fun of. Spinning and spinning around you. People passed by her with a smile on her face, and she could not reciprocate for how busy she was with the vibration inside her head, with the wave of hatred as it rose through her stomach and threatened to come out of her mouth with offensive words. It consisted of being like wings inside the skull, but the sound did not exist.
Her head throbbed with all the weight as it had inside it, and commonly she threw herself on the floor with a nauseating pain in her brain, feeling the hatred wanting to consume each wound as it was still open in her heart. Debby remembered her father, the nights in that house and on the si
