Chapter 43. Connecting Deeply

Three months later

A relieved and happy, Arianna climbed into the passenger seat of Laurence’s car as he drove her home. They had come for her last checkup and the orthopaedic surgeon certified her fit enough to live a normal life and pursue normal activities, except strenuous ones, of course.

They were very excited, as they could finally show each other how much they loved one another. For three months, they had waited patiently to make love and finally the day had arrived. Laurence had just returned from a two-day business tour of New York. With Troy literally living at their house and Lisa helping her with Lauren, Arianna wasn’t at all inconvenienced by Laurence’s absence. Sandra looked after the entire house effortlessly.
