Chapter 5. Going Out with Him
After enjoying their food, they walked out to the car. Lisa felt attracted to Liam. His presence calmed her wild, obstinate, and hot-headed nature. Lisa softened when around him. She felt shy and acutely aware of herself around him. She didn’t know why, but deep in her heart; she felt a strange wish to see him again and again. It was something she would never confess to anyone, not even to her own self.
“Drop me at 1423 S. Van Dyke Avenue please,” said Lisa when Liam didn’t ask her Sofia’s address. Liam smiled. He knew it already but didn’t mention it to her. Lisa looked at him in confusion. Did he know it?
“When are you shifting into your own home?” he asked her. He would visit Serenity soon and he wanted to see Lisa, too. So the sooner she returned home, the better. He didn’t like that cousin of Sofia’s but he didn’t tell her anything. That boy looked like trouble, but Lisa should realize that on her own. He didn’t want to sound like a possessive boyfriend.
