Chapter 40. Everything Falls in Place
Sofia took excessive care of Davion, so much so that he could freely move his upper torso and neck after a week of returning home. His pelvic fracture would take three more weeks to heal and it would take him almost three months to stand on his own feet. Regular physiotherapy would allow him to walk thereafter but the muscles around his pelvic girdle and his legs could take almost a year to heal. It seemed like a huge battle ahead of him but Davion didn't give up hope. He wanted to walk before his daughter was born. So he worked hard and followed everything that his physiotherapist instructed him to do. The physiotherapist praised him for his determination and effort. Even Sofia was impressed and praised him after the physiotherapist left.
