Chapter 38. Landing Up at His House

Colton had just freshened up and taken a sip of his coffee when he heard the doorbell. Who could it be so early in the morning? His bed had finally arrived yesterday and for the first time in days, he had a good night's sleep. Muttering curses, he went to open the door. Why do people visit other people's houses so early in the morning? Couldn't they sleep and let others too sleep in peace? He wasn't expecting anyone and therefore was clueless about who it could be.

He opened the door and blinked seeing Victoria and Asher outside on his doorstep. He slapped his head to bring him to his senses and closed the door. He really needed his coffee to bring him to his senses and stop him from hallucinating. He might be going crazy since he had been seeing Victoria everywhere, even in his dreams. Again the doorbell rang. He opened it and blinked twice when he saw that it really was Victoria and Asher. How could they be here? He pinched himself to check if he was hallucinating or not.
