Chapter 39. Heartfelt Confessions
The crib arrived and so did the nursery room furniture. Colton felt a newfound energy inside him to assemble them for Asher. Ever since Victoria disappeared into his bedroom he had been fidgeting here and there, wanting to talk to Victoria more, to kiss her again but she didn't once emerge. It was really frustrating to see her right in front of him, to smell her intoxicating floral smell, to know that she had come back to her forever and yet not able to touch her, kiss her. The need to have her in his arms tormented him so much that he lost his patience and dropped everything that he was doing. He had to tell her how he felt.
He opened the adjoining door which connected the nursery to his bedroom and stilled on seeing her.
