Chapter 15. Lucas's Past Catches Up
Lucas went to work and Violet cleaned the house, cooked, and did the laundry. The boys were busy checking out their new books and stationery.
When free, Violet sat down to draw up a menu plan. She included a comprehensive menu plan, including sweet and salted savories, cakes, and desserts. Closing her eyes, she smiled as a delightful name for her bakery filled up her mind, Violet's Delights. She made design templates for her promotional ad pamphlets to be distributed.
It was nearly evening, and Violet sat with the boys as they busied themselves with home assignments. "Violet, what are reflexive pronouns?" asked William.
"Show me the book?" said Violet. She read the paragraph thoroughly. "Reflexive pronouns are words that are used when the subject and the object of a sentence are the same.
