Chapter 16. A Shocking Ordeal

Violet followed them outside to see Leilani and her friends lounging in the living room. The moment she saw Violet, a malicious smirk broke on her lips.

"Get us something to drink. Just because Lucas is away, don't think you can laze around," she said in a sarcastic tone, spewing venom at her.

"Get your own drink. Why should I?" said Violet angrily.

"How dare you talk back?" said Leilani, suddenly springing up and slapping Violet hard before she could retaliate. Shocked, Violet staggered from the sudden attack.

Walter went inside to call Billy, but he didn't accept the call.

"How dare you hit my sister?" said William, going ahead and stamping her heel-clad foot. She yelped in pain.

"Get out of Lucas's house, you shameless bitch. Take your scoundrels with you," said Leilani as her friends helped her sit down.

"You three get out of here. This is our house. Lucas wants me to stay here and I'm not going anywhere else," said Violet, glarin
