Yvonne's POV

"Queen". She called quietly. I hummed in response waiting for her to talk.

I waited for a few minutes and turned around to look at her when I didn't hear her voice anymore.

She was staring at the Television screen in a dumbfounded expression. I followed her gaze as I saw Jack on the TV, laid down on a stretcher, being rolled into the ambulance. She picked up the remote and increased the volume immediately.

"Alpha Jack was attacked on his way to the nearby pack. He was with his ex-girlfriend Del while they were ambushed. She escaped and is nowhere to be found". That coward! I muttered under my breath.

"Right now, he is in a critical condition as he has been moved to the hospital. More information on what really happened will be conveyed soon". The reporter said as they showed pictures of Jack's car. It has been ruined with gunshots. I can't believe that fool, Del ran away. I thought she was brave.
