Yvonne's POV

Del was done eating and so was I. Del scooped what she wanted to eat and carried it inside the room. She doesn't want to hurt her ego in front of me but I guess she was really hungry. I had to urge her to eat.

I cleared the plates to the kitchen. I wiped the dining table as Jack kept staring at me.

"What?" I asked as I dropped the last plate in the kitchen.

"Are you going to wash all this? Just leave it for the maids. You should be tired by now".

"Yea, it's stressful". I replied as I washed my hands under the running tap.

"So are you still getting your revenge?" I asked as I bit my lips in expectation.

"No. I feel it shouldn't be". He replied as I raised my heads to look at him in surprise.

"So, we aren't going back to Manor, as you said then".

"I'm back to my senses now. This is our home". I replied to her. I chuckled and laughed out happily.
