Chapter 25
With these two statements, Jack and Jeff are eager to hear what the judge would say about their case. All their intentions are focused on this and nothing else. Nelly steadies on her seat, supporting her chin with her hand, looking forward, up to the judge. The whole of us on the first row wants the judgment to go in favor of Jeff while those on the second for the wicked Jack.
After a long list of questions and analysis, the judge is set to deliver his final verdict, our hearts pump like it has some extra machine in it which is not allowing it to function well as normal hearts. Right now, it feels like your favorite player is about to shoot the penalty and the goalkeeper is very good at catching balls, this is your last chance to win the game, the tension can only be felt, not probably described.
"With the authority vested on me," the judge starts as if he can't speak, his voice coming out very slowly that you hardly hear if you don't pay much attent
