Sakshi’s PoV

“Wipe your tears and apply makeup to cover the marks and your tear-stained face. No one should see those hickeys. Make it fast. We are already late,” Randhir said.

I wiped my tears and got ready as soon as possible. He took me to the party. I sat away from everyone as Randhir ordered me to isolate myself from them. Finally the award was announced and Randhir went onto the stage looking at me.

I was surprised and happy knowing that Randhir won the best entrepreneur award. I stopped smiling as Randhir looked at me. I lowered my gaze remembering the past. Everyone asked Randhir to speak and share the reason behind his success. He took the mike and looked at me again.
