“But your parents need you. They shouldn’t feel that if they have a son, he would have helped them at this time. Because you are no less than a son. I am sure you can handle company perfectly. Daughters are never less than sons, but they are always made helpless by their husbands like me, stopping their progress, as they are bound to them with a knot.”

Randhir said holding my nuptial chain in his hands. He slowly continued.

“Husband always force his wife to choose between her responsibility as a daughter and wife. Obviously she chooses her husband over her parents. Even if she prefers parents, parents would not agree that decision as they want their daughter to be happy with her husband. That’s how a daughter becomes helpless.
