Chapter 56. Being Worried

Lowe stood in front of the headquarters of Unity League and Canis Force as he thought of doing underground movements without letting the other members know. He exhaled and couldn’t stop to worry about Clover, who kept her distance closer to El Capitan. He had warned Clover, but she stood firmly at her decision. Who was Lowe to stop Clover from her verdict? He had no authority and only advised her to follow the right path.

“Still thinking about Clover?” Aaron immediately asked his side and sat on the chair at the side of the door while glimpsing at the nearby road where all vehicles and trucks passed. “She will be fine, and you should not worry about her anymore. Also, I am sure she would be back to update us on what she got around her expedition.”

With a nod, Lowe exhaled. “I know that. However, I can’t just handle worrying about her situation. We don’t know what she did in the past weeks. She had not g
