When they entered the restaurant, among all the impressed looks at the couple who had just entered, only one of those looks interested Jane. Luc wasn't just looking at her in surprise. When they reached the table where Luc was sitting with three shareholders from his pharmacy company, they stood up as a sign of respect.

"Good evening, gentlemen..." Theo said, looking amused. "Didn't my brother say I'd be at this meeting? He's very absent-minded." Theo said and looked at Jane. "He's been distracted, but I think you'll understand... He has a good reason... That lady next to me is his fiancée."
