Giovanna stared at Andrew in amazement. He didn't seem to understand what the big deal was.

"The Luna who resurfaced and was rejected is me." She said.

"I thought so."

"That means Luc has a wife..."

"If it's really what we suspected, yes."

"I don't know who's causing more pain, me or them, the Alphas. He was happy with his wife... Why did I have to resurface to disrupt their whole life?"

Andrew became pensive.

"I once believed that the werewolves would be better off without the Alphas and Lunas..."

"You don't think so anymore?"
