"Yes, my father... You're right." Rael said submissively and hurried away.

Grace talked about her brother's impression of her father.

"He's dangerous... He's going to kill Kildar. Let him come with us, for his own safety. Vitor will look after him with love, he's loved him since his conception, even if he's never laid eyes on him.

"If you take Kildar, I will die, because my existence is linked to this child. The day he walks away from me, I will positively die. I have plans. And I can assure you that nothing bad will happen to him."

The sisters took their father at his word, as he now seemed in need of reconciliation with all those he had wronged. They accompanied the king to the lunch that their father had prepared to celebrate his visit and the reconciliation of his daughters, and although they couldn't help realising that Rael's seat remained empty, they had a great time.
