Chapter 36. Calleb's Son
Calleb watched his first son being born with pride. He thought that this would be a moment he wouldn't care about, since the boy had already been born with a destiny set by the people of the land, but that wasn't the case. He loved the smell of the child, remembered its manifestations while still resting in Samah's womb, every time it spoke and felt his chest inflate with satisfaction when he arrived home and it came with kittens to welcome him.
