Footsteps were rapidly approaching behind Luna, but she still didn't want to understand the meaning of it all, and kept her eyes on Theo.

“You don't need to kill to become a werewolf because you were born a werewolf, Luna. But you will need to kill to become a vampire and have those powers.” It was Damian's voice, but she sensed that Luc was with him.

“Did you lie to me, Luc? You pretended all this time that you were Theo!”

“I didn't lie, I just didn't correct you.”

“Omitting is the same as lying...” She said thoughtfully and turned to Damian. “I don't have a problem with killing, but why not, Luc? I don't want to do that to my fiancé.”

“Ah! I don't trust you with Luc. I know you'll understand that he's the only father I've ever known and... We need an Alpha for this bizarre transformation.”

Giovanna looked at Theo.

“Do I need to take his life? Wouldn't a little blood be enough?”
