Giovanna sat down and hated what she felt. Fear.

"So your parents don't mean anything to you anymore..." Luc said in a cutting voice. Giovanna saw the contempt in them.

"They're the reason I ended up here, right?"

"And you regret it? You wouldn't do it again, even if you knew it would save their lives?"

"They betrayed me. They sold me out, and I don't care what they got in return for doing it. It's like they're dead to me. And nothing will change that feeling. I had to face the pain of loss, I suffered and cried, but it's over. It won't happen again."
