Chapter 126. The Return of the Sheik

Giovanna looked at the food on her plate.

"I was thinking of a different date, Erick. I don't really like that kind of talk and..."

"It's okay. No, I shouldn't have said something like that to you..." he said and immediately started another conversation with more interesting topics for Giovanna, who forgot about that conversation and wanted him in her bed when she got up to get dessert. Giovanna heard the doorbell and as she didn't know anyone who might be visiting, she ignored it as she took the dessert to the table and put it carefully away. She went into the kitchen and opened another bottle of wine and came back happy and saw her joy die when she saw Luc standing staring at Erick. Luc was much taller and Giovanna realized that Erick was intimidated. She froze in place. What was he doing there?

Luc turned to her with a cold, cutting gaze.

"I hear you're graduating soon." He said seriously and Giovanna
