She didn't seem to hear him and continued staring at the sea.

"You know you can talk to me about anything, right?"

Theo understood. Ever since she killed her own baby in her womb, she hadn't menstruated. He even thought she wouldn't menstruate anymore. It was a violence that he had unknowingly led her to commit.
