Chapter 182. Reconciled

She sat down and touched the padlock. She felt the elements that made up the object react to her touch and it opened. She took off the chain and left quietly.

Giovanna went in front of the cursed forest. She needed the sea. Barefoot, she waded into the water until it hit her knees and lowered her palm into it. She watched as the water began to form blue snakes around her. She closed her eyes and opened her arms. The wind blew fiercely and the sea churned just there. The water rose up to her, enveloping her body with the blue snakes and a whirlpool of ice formed around her. She turned towards the forest and from within the circle of ice and snakes, she saw Hektor, Tilia and Anchan. She smiled and remembered them. She remembered everything. A frozen tear formed on her cheek. Her father and mother would die.

“Don't do it, Giovanna!” Tilia ordered. “I still need to talk to you about something!”
