Chapter 92. Renegotiation

Giovanna discovered that there were three partners in that hospital, and one of them was very surprising.

Théo, Luc and herself. The hospital had been founded by an ancestor of hers, and she had inherited it along with her estate and never realized it. She hadn't bothered to examine the deeds she had received with the money when her parents died. It was a lot of money and that was enough for her.

But she continued her habits, as if she were just another hospital doctor, and never revealed this secret to her friends.

Théo didn't make much of an effort to woo her. He took her out to dinner a few times, but he never spoke to her much and after the meal, he left her at home and went off without preamble, without trying to seduce her. Which was a little frustrating for her. She had hoped to enjoy herself while humiliating him in the many ways she planned each time she stood in front of the mirror preparing to have dinner with him.
