Chapter 96. Ramblings

Giovanna saw Luc with his head resting on his hand watching her so coldly that, for a few seconds, Giovanna believed he hadn't felt anything she had felt, but she could feel it. He was blocking her out and yet she could feel the intensity of what had happened between them seeping out of every pore in his body, which meant that he was experiencing the same whirlwind of intense, contradictory and confusing emotions as she was and she closed her eyes. She didn't need to confront her feelings. She didn't need to embarrass him.

"The elements... Can you summon them too?" She asked, still with her eyes closed.
