"If you are here to insult my wife..." Denny said calmly, although inside, he was furious. 

He paused and looked at the girl in his embrace as he felt her pulling on his shirt with her eyes widened looking at him. He was guessing this girl was silently reminding him about using such a word to describe her in front of their guests, but instead of taking heed of her message, Denny just pulled her head to his kiss and continued with a gentle squeeze on her waist-- where he was holding her.
