She swiftly removed the phone from Trisha's hold on her ear and walked a little distance away from Trisha. Trixie held her hand, palm open, in front of Trisha to tell her not to move from her place as she talked to the man on the other line.
When Trixie made sure Trisha would not get to hear her words while keeping her eyes on the girl, also checking their surroundings for anything suspicious, she spoke to the man Trisha was talking to over the phone.
"I do not know what your deal with this girl, Trisha is, but let me tell you that she was almost stabbed by a scalpel not even half an hour ago. The poor girl doesn't even seem to know someone is trying to harm her. I am glad I was able to pull her away, but I did not get to see who the mugger was. I don't think it is safe to leave her alone here, so I will stay with her until she gets home. Hopefully, by then, she will be safe," Trixie blurted out without a pause.
