Chapter 253. Equally Important

“You know I would never wish for you to have conflicts with your family because of me,” Aleah murmured as he was too close to hear her words. She spoke softly. “Who am I to put you into such a predicament?” she added.

“You are who you are to me, honey,” Denny replied. “I always thought actions speak louder than words, and I thought I have shown you and done enough. I am too foolish to realize words are equally important as actions,” he gently moved his upper body back to have a look at her face and kissed her forehead. “I love you, Aleah Silver. I love you more than life itself. And I believe this love has multiplied, tripled, and more, I guess!”

“I don’t dare to love you. I don’t deserve a decent man like you. But I am always grateful. I wanted to keep the babies without telling you about them, to have a memory of you,” Aleah replied emotionally.

Denny felt a sharp pain in his chest as if he was being pinched. Her words of honesty were like a pointed knife pressin
