Chapter 252. Contagious Joy

Aleah held her breath as she waited for what he was going to say with his smile starting to widen. Even his eyes seemed to be full of joy.

"You mean..?"

Denny's lips were quivering. Words seemed to rush out, but nothing audible came out of his mouth. Aleah waited silently, but her eyes were somehow expectant for something positive.

Aleah inhaled deeply. Still silently waiting.

"We are..?" Denny pointed at himself then his pointing finger moved in his and Aleah's direction.

The joy in his face was contagious and Aleah could not help but smile along as he seemed to be lost for words but exceedingly happy especially when Denny's eyes traced from Aleah's face down her abdomen. His trembling hand was only half an inch above her tummy, but he gazed at Aleah pleadingly as if asking for her permission to let him touch her.
