Chapter 73. Her Name Was Rose
Two things I noticed when I woke up, my hands and legs were tied to a chair, and it was too dark. My shoulders ached and throbbed. I don't know what day it is; I have no idea how long I have been unconscious. I groan in pain when I try to shift my body, causing the rough fabric on my hands and legs to tear into my flesh.
I could smell my blood, and the dry blood in my thighs. . . Oh God, my baby! I shuddered; I remember hitting my stomach on the car seat when the accident happened. I sniff when a tear falls down my cheek. I know I said I didn't want this baby, but I was never going to go through with aborting it either.
I don't know where the strength comes from, maybe the thoughts of bleeding to death and losing my child make me frantic but I start yelling, fighting to free myself.
