Chapter 81. Burning! Burning!

 "So, you are trying to tell me that Zade was telling the truth." I scratch my head, closing my eyes in exhaustion. I haven't slept properly in weeks. I am scared for Aella's life. Someone wants to harm her, and it kills me that I don't know who. After letting Zade go, I told my men to monitor him, I didn't believe that he had anything to do with any of the threats against Aella's life, it turns out he wasn't lying to me.

 "Whoever this is, they are calculated and know what they are doing." If Jake with all his experiences says they are calculated, then I need to stay on my toes.

 "What do we do now?" 

 "You need to rest boss; you look like you haven't slept in days," Ryan says concerned.

 "I haven't," I respond genuinely. "How can I sleep when my woman and child are in danger?"

Jake sighs, taking a seat. "We are close, I can feel it. Ryan has something, if we work with it carefully, we will get that bastard in no time."
