My men have all assembled themselves at the warehouse. I frown when I see Ryan too. I desperately want to punch his teeth and watch him bleed, but that would also mean wasting more time, and Aella doesn't have time.

"Any luck in finding Hugo?" I ask Ryker. He looks stressed like he had just been dragged out of bed. When Ryan told me they had cars chasing after Aella, I immediately concluded that it was Zade. Only Zade has that much authority to plan a kidnap in broad daylight.

"No" He replies, stifling a yawn. I feel so bad that I have to do this, drag him away from his family when they equally need him.

"Thank you for always showing up Ryker." I mean it.

"Never thank me, Ace. Aella is family."

I nod in response. I will forever be grateful to him. "Ace?"
