Chapter 184. Call Me Lo
For the first time since he was in Asmodeus’s hell, Carlos saw Dolores in something other than delinquent black. She was in washed blue jeans and a plain white tee. Her face was bare of makeup and she wore no jewelry. The whole image woke up a protective feeling in him that he didn’t even know he had. She looked so normal.
“Well Dolores,” He began leaning back in his chair. “You’ve got your audience. What is it that is so important that you wanted to speak to me by all means?”
“Lo,” she said, not looking him in the face.
“What?” He asked after thinking it over and conclusion that what she said did in fact make no sense.
“Call me Lo,” she amended.
