“What do you mean by that?” Carlos asked, struggling against every screaming instinct of his and trying to stay calm.

“She’s in New York as we speak,” Clark continued, trying to catch his breath and speak at the same time. “They found out where she was and they attacked her but luckily, the security detail was still good and they were able to get her out. She gave birth on the helicopter ride here.”

This was way too much information for his brain to accept right at the moment.

“Where is she? How is she? Who else knows that she is here?” The questions came one after the other even though he was trying his hardest to not ask react with panic he couldn’t stopped the question, he asked them as they nagged at him.

“She’s at a safe house,” Clark decided to take the questions one after the other. “She’s fine, she figured it was best that you knew what was going on. Only the Brothers are aware that she’s here.”
