Chapter 18

Argue

The moment we got out of that room, a sudden flash of lights hit us. My eyes were in pain when the lights hit them. It was covered by Krio’s right hand while both of our other hands were still holding each other. Then we heard the crowd clapping for us. When it was pretty okay, we faced the crowd. We are at the clubhouse.

“This isn’t good. We really need to get out of this place now!” Krio exclaimed while still looking at the crowd.

“What’s happening?” I asked him, and he looked at me, and he looked mad.

“Let’s just get out of here,” he said, and we went straight. 

While passing the crowd, we heard them shouting, “So lucky!” “What’s the price?” most of them were cheering and whistling. As we continued to walk, someone suddenly grabbed me, and I was a little hurt there, it’s a good thing I didn’t let go of Krio’s hand, and he took a
